Age limit: 18-23 Years as on 01/08/2012 and upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen is as per Govt orders
Educational Qualifications: matriculation or Xth pass from recognized board/University.
Selection Process: Based on Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: RS 50/- for General candidates, No fee for female candidates and SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through both online and offline on or before 04/01/2012.
1. Candidates should download the prescribed application format from Advt link and need to be filled properly.
2. Candidates should pay application fee by CRF stamps available at postal offices. The CRF stamp is to be pasted on application form at relevant space and later is has to be get cancelled form post office.
3. Applications filled correctly has to be submitted at regional commission office on or before 04/12/2012.

1. Candidates should visit www.ssconline.nic.in and sscregistration.sifyitest.com websites for online application download.
2. Candidates should pay the requisite fee through SBI challan or Net banking.
3. Candidates should retain the registration number assigned to them for future use.

Last date for online Apply (Part-1): 02/01/2012
Last date for online Apply (Part-2): 04/01/2012
Last date for receipt of application: 04/01/2012 (Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for abroad candidates 11/01/2012.)
