Job Summary :
The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Research team executing experiments in the area of optical systems under the guidance of an engineer. The key responsibilities include
# Work under the guidance of engineers to design and execute optical experiments.
# Developing simulation models for analysis of optics systems.
# Opto-mechanical designs for high temperature optical systems design
# Deploying sensor systems in the field
# Setting up room temperature or high temperature optical experiments
# Effective communication of results by preparing reports, making presentations describing the analysis performed, solutions developed
Qualifications/Requirements:
# Bachelors or Masters in Optical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related discipline or a Masters degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics.
# Demonstrated experience with optics, electronics hardware instrumentation, setting up and performing experiments, variety of data collection systems.
# Knowledge of board level mixed signal circuit design.
# Demonstrated experience in use of optical modeling software
