Job Description:
Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures • Escalates complex problems to the Remote Support Engineering staff or Field Engineering • Typically provides technical support for internal and external customers • Escalates complex problems to higher level of expertise within organization • Responsible for providing the first-line of after-sales telephone technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers and/or employees.
Key Skills:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication and should be flexible with shifts
2. Good Knowledge in Operating System, Hardware, Networking, IE, MS Office
3. Multitasking and coordination skills• Well versant with technology (understanding of networks, monitoring, DBMS, Windows)
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Core Competencies:
5. Communication skills - written and verbal
6. Ability to work in a pressurized environment and able to deliver against a tight timescale
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for providing the first-line of post-sales telephone technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers and/or employees. Answers more complex questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products. Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures. Escalates compex problems to the Remote Support Engineering staff or Field Engineering. Fully qualified and experienced. Typically provides technical support for internal and external customers. Escalates complex problems to higher level of expertise within organization
