Job Role: Exchange Administrator
Job Summary :
Candidate must be an excellent communicator, very organized, multi-task oriented and able to meet deadlines, and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Will be administering, tuning and maintaining Exchange site.
Responsibilities & Requirement:
Technical Knowledge (Administration):
6 months-5 years of relevant experience in Exchange with multiple sites.
Good technical knowledge on MS operating system (Windows 2000 /2003 & 2008).
Knowledge on all versions of Exchange server ( Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2010)
Ability to deploy and administer Microsoft Exchange 2003 ,2007 & 2010 in an Enterprise environment
Able to troubleshoot Exchange 2003 , 2007 & 2010 related problems
Must have hands-on experience installing, configuring, migrating, and supporting Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 & 2010
Demonstrates the ability to work independently with little supervision
Follow work instruction
Follow daily check
Analyze and resolve user problems related to
Prioritize and respond to incidents and requests
Analyze technical challenges and make solution recommendations
Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent processes (Incident, Change and Problem Management).
Ability to diagnose technical problems and identify solutions
Technical Knowledge (Projects):
Knowledge of methodologies for developing, building and configuring a Exchange site
Perform installations and configuration of different version of Exchange.
Process & Documentation:
Prepare and maintain systems documentation in accordance with AO, ITIL and ISO9000 policies and procedures.
Manage and control the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure it meets customer and ITIL standards and operational requirements
Preparing documents knowledge database, work instructions etc..
Working knowledge on ticketing tool
Assisting & training team members on new technology & provide knowledge transfer to the team.
Experience in generating reports & doing call analysis
