We are currently recruiting for a Associate Quality Engineer in Baroda
Responsibilities:
1. Working independently while designing, developing, modifying, and executing manual functional test cases; Creating and maintaining test data
2. Participating in all phases of the development life cycle.
3. Coordinating with the software development and design staff to carry out the testing activities to ensure that the product is effectively and efficiently tested prior to release for general availability
4. Providing accurate testing and test planning estimates as input into the entire software development life cycle.
5. Testing and delivering quality software hotfixes and service packs in a timely manner.
6. Demonstrating good judgment in the execution of assigned tasks while acting as a fully-engaged team player who is detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple assignments and responsibilities at the same time
7. Creating, maintaining, updating, and monitoring defects and problem entries within the defect tracking system and following issues and defects through to complete resolution.
8. Contributing to the team-oriented software development process through requirement, design, and test reviews; performing daily functional testing activities while being agile and flexible in scheduling of work tasks
9. Participating in QA process improvement activities by applying established software quality assurance analysis and procedures to all phases of SDLC.
10. Recommending process improvements that will facilitate the software development process
Candidate Profile:
1. 1-2 years of experience with manual software testing in a client/server environment working with complex systems
2. Knowledge of all levels of software testing including functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing
3. Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
4. User Interface Automation experience is a big plus
5. Agile experience is a BIG plus
6. Healthcare IT experience is desired
7. Healthcare Clinical experience is desired particularly in the Ambulatory or Emergency setting
