The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is an autonomous Institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India. We do basic research in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computer science. We have campuses in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore and research facilities in various other places in India. We have master's and doctoral programs in our fields of work.
Job Description:
1. The selected candidate must be willing to learn basic aspects of magnetic resonance spectroscopy, get involved in the trouble-shooting of the spectrometers and other related components, regular maintenance of the spectrometers, and upkeep of the magnets and computers.
2. The candidate will be assisted in the job by the NMR faculty and an engineer.
Candidate Profile:
1. Candidate should possess B.E/B.Tech in (Electronics)/M.Sc (Physics or equivalent) degree from a recognised university.
2. Should have a minimum of 60% marks throughout.
