Job Description:
In this Database Administrator role, the ideal candidate will assist with day to day operations and technical issues, as well as participation in the initiation and planning phases of organizational projects. Also able to provide L1/L2 level Support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and supporting database environments with SQL Servers, Backup & disaster recovery. Experience in supporting these environments in Healthcare will be preferable.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with an IT focus.
2. Ability to work constructively in a team environment.
3. 3-5 years of experience in administrating SQL server Environment (combination of Oracle and SQL preferred) or the equivalent in education and work experience.
4. Willing to work in 24x7 support environment.
5. Experience with replicating, mirroring & clustering.
6. Database design & architecture.
7. Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
8. Should have experience and capability on L1/L2.
9. Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
10. Experience with Patching & Security remediation to keep environment compliant.
