Job Description:
The SDET contributes to the development of original mobile games on iOS by creating tools and an automation system to support the QA group, as well as interfacing with product team members. You will be responsible for owning the creation and deployment of QA tools and supporting the needs of the development team for original iOS titles.
1. Writing and executing clear and concise test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
2. Collaborating with QA Leads, product teams and management to develop a strategy for creating effective testing tools.
3. Development and deployment of an automated testing system to interface with offsite servers
Candidate Profile:
1. Active knowledge of client/server (MMO) game architectures
2. Usage of Jmeter to create load tests for server components, and record/deploy simulated play sessions for testing full load server conditions
3. Active knowledge of Java
4. Additional scripting of HTTP requests, mySQL queries, JDBC modules
5. Experience as a Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) preferred
6. Prior experience designing and building a test automation framework
7. Experience in product releases and working through multiple cycles
8. Background in testing database-driven applications
