Symantec Corporation, requires a Associate SQA Engineer
1. As a Software QA Engineer you will be working with a highly motivated global team of Engineers.
2. You will be responsible for developing and executing functional and regression tests.
3. Work closely with developers and QA Engineers to design test criteria, test strategy and develop test plans
4. Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents.
5. Work in parallel on more than one QA project at a time.
6. Execute manual web UI and mobile device (iOS/Android/Blackberry) test cases.

Job Skills:
1. iOS and/or Android development experience a plus.
2. Ability to understand customer use cases and prioritize test cases accordingly.
3. Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
4. You must be action-oriented, have the ability to learn new technologies and quickly put them in action.
5. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

5. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
1. 0-2 years experience in the software quality assurance or software development.
2. Must have strong Linux knowledge and in depth understanding of network protocols and encryption.
3. Exposure to Linux Operating System.
4. Python scripting experience a plus.
5. Exchange installation/administration experience desired.
6. Experience with web services testing, specifically REST API.
7. Experience using third party automation tools for UI testing such as Selenium.
